Case study: redesign of the Dapin.sk website

About client

Dapin is an interior design studio specializing in curtains, drapes, wallpapers and interior accessories. It provides clients not only with the sale of design products, but also with complete consulting, design solutions and the implementation of custom-made interior projects.

Dapin combines a sense of design with an emphasis on detail, quality materials and a personal approach to each client.

Assignment and initial situation

The original version of the dapin.sk website was overloaded with content and confusing. The website contained long blocks of text, a lot of information without visual division, and it lacked separate product pages with photos and descriptions of the offered categories.

The client needed to present itself as a modern design studio that offers visually attractive products and services – but the original website did not match this.

New homepage design

Clear structure and new content

In the redesign, I focused on creating a clear, intuitive structure. All important information was summarized on the main page, which immediately familiarizes visitors with the range of services offered.

The individual sections guide the user through:

  • an introductory presentation of the studio,
  • the company’s benefits,
  • an overview of the products offered,
  • social proof in the form of projects and references,
  • the benefits of cooperation,
  • and finally a clear call to action.

When creating content, I shortened long texts and divided them into clear bite-sized sections, used icons to improve readability, and created separate product pages with images and category descriptions (e.g., curtains, drapes, wallpaper).

Design and visual style

The main color scheme is the characteristic company color #7c0072 (based on the logo), used for CTA elements and highlighting important information.

To balance the design, I chose soft, light colors #f9f4f0 and #fef9f7, which give the site an airy and light feel. The visual style supports the design character of the studio and reflects its focus on aesthetics and detail.

I used plenty of white space and visually separated the sections to make the website look clean and modern, while also helping users navigate it.

Key benefits of the redesign

  • Clear and simple navigation focused on quick understanding of the offer,

  • Shortened texts and improved readability of content,

  • Attractive product pages with photos and clear descriptions,

  • Modern design supporting the credibility and style of the brand,

  • Effectively placed CTA elements to encourage contact,

  • Overall visual refinement of the site in line with the character of the Dapin brand.

Results

  • New website brought improvements to user experience – visitors can better navigate the offer and spend more time on the site.

  • Simplified navigation and clearly placed CTA buttons encouraged visitors to contact the studio.

  • The client has gained a website that matches the design character of its services and more effectively addresses its target group.

Conclusion

The redesign of dapin.sk shows how a visually appealing and clearly structured website can help a brand not only aesthetically, but also commercially.

The combination of modern design, clear structure, and strategic content has created a website that presents Dapin Studio as a reliable partner for the design and implementation of custom interiors.
