About me
My name is Michal Urban
I have over 8 years of experience in marketing. I studied marketing and worked on the client side and in an agency.
I have experience in managing the marketing of a smaller company, where I felt the need to be able to properly analyze the company and the market, set goals and prepare a suitable strategy based on them, thanks to which the company will achieve them, within a limited budget.
From working as a performance specialist in an agency focusing on smaller clients, I know how to achieve success and achieve results even with a small budget. Thanks to this experience, I also know how not addressing the marketing basics can limit the overall performance of campaigns.
Education
I studied at the Faculty of Mass Media Communication in Slovakia and also at the Tomas Bata University in Czech Republic, where I studied marketing communication. So I am a qualified marketer.
In addition, I completed a six-month study of digital marketing through the organization Digital University and I have taken several courses on brand building. However, my education does not end there and I gain new information every day.
Experience
NANOOK, Prague
As part of my work at a marketing agency, in addition to creating, optimizing, and evaluating PPC campaigns, I was also responsible for creating content for social networks, creating newsletters, and creating sales landing pages.
Digital Boom, Bratislava
At the marketing agency, I was in charge of dozens of clients, with whom I achieved results thanks to the effective use of Google Ads and Facebook Ads campaigns.
Neka Stores, Trnava
As a marketing manager, I helped manage all marketing activities of the company. I implemented several PPC campaigns focused on immediate sales, research to analyze the target audience and marketing macro environment for strategic management of the company. I designed the e-shop according to the principles of behavioral economics. I was also in charge of creating the blog.

I completed an international course led by the world’s leading experts in consumer psychology. I learned how to apply psychological principles to ads, websites, emails, and sales strategies to increase their effectiveness.
