About client
SIMERIS is a Slovak engineering company specializing in automation, robotics and industrial solutions. It provides comprehensive services – from the analysis of customer needs, through the design of a technical solution to its implementation and subsequent service. Their areas of operation include, for example, industrial robotic lines, conveyors, manipulators or complete automation units.
The company focuses on a professional approach, technical precision and long-term cooperation with clients from various industries.
Assignment and starting situation
The original simeris.eu website was technologically outdated, with visible errors caused by outdated code. At the same time, the site was confusing – key information such as services provided, implementations or client portfolios were fragmented into a number of separate sub-pages, which worsened the user experience and made quick orientation impossible.
The goal was therefore to create a new, modern website with an emphasis on:
- clean and understandable presentation of services,
- functional and clear structure,
- design supporting acquisition of business contacts.
Solution
Creating a new website structure
The design was based on a simple and clear information architecture. All essential information was concentrated on the main page, which immediately familiarizes the user with the company’s activities.
At the same time, the website gradually guides the visitor through:
- brief introduction of the company,
- services and areas of operation,
- selected realizations and references,
- benefits of cooperation,
- down to a clearly placed call to contact.
At the same time, each section on the main page contains the possibility to clearly click through to a detailed sub-page, if the user is interested in more information.
Design and visual style
When creating the design, I was based on Simeris company colors:
- Main color of CTA elements: #0047ba
- Light background: #edf6fc
The goal was to create a modern, lightweight and easy-to-read design that promotes trust and clearly communicates the company’s technical focus. The individual sections are therefore separated in containers with rounded corners, so that the design looks soft, but still professional.
Key redesign changes
Modernization of the website appearance in accordance with UX/UI principles,
A clear structure aimed at quick visitor orientation,
Application of sales psychology – the website gradually leads the visitor from the company introduction to the decision to contact,
Emphasizing the benefits of cooperation and the company’s expertise,
Improvement of the technical condition of the website and elimination of errors associated with outdated code.
Redesigned sections
Hero section
The introductory section with a strong headline and short description clearly communicates the company’s focus and presents what SIMERIS does. The social proof element in the form of partner and client logos supports the credibility and perception of the company’s expertise at first contact.
Services section
A clear presentation of the main services in a uniform design with brief descriptions allows for quick orientation. The user can learn at a glance what solutions the company offers and can easily click through to the service details.
Results and benefits
After the new website was deployed:
- The clarity and user experience improved – visitors can navigate the service offerings more quickly,
- The website has a clean, professional look that builds trust in the brand,
- The clear structure and calls to action improved conversion potential,
- Technical errors were resolved and the website is fully responsive and functional on all devices,
The client gained a modern presentation platform that supports its business activities and expands customer acquisition opportunities.
